After a near-death experience, I thought it would be my last day.
You see, I held a camera since I was a child. But naturally, as a child of immigrant parents, I was told that I should pursue a “real job” and that I should take the route everyone else is taking.
Growing up with not much money, I believed in that narrative. I was trying to survive in the world after all.
At the moment I was sitting in a hospital bed, I had many regrets. The biggest one would’ve been that I didn’t get to live my own life and tell my own story.
That moment reminded me of the fragility of life, and it led me to pick up my camera again.
What would you do if it were your last day on earth?
I took my first solo trip to Japan, where I fell in love with travel photography. Behind the lens, I couldn’t get enough of capturing the uniqueness of every moment—the people, the cultures, and the ever-changing beauty of nature around me.
Photography taught me how to express my own unique perspective and story.
It was a full reset from my childhood narrative.
I discovered true freedom for myself. Finally, the writer of my own story.
My work now is about helping you do the same because

Sometimes I love me a good Kobe beef straight from Japan, and sometime I just want a Chipotle burrito. I'm the least picky eater you'll meet.

Checking the light in every corner, gathering our most meaningful mementos to photograph, and asking how we wanted our story told. We decided on a candid approach, and it was hands-down the best decision. The photos are raw, genuine, and emotional. We went about the day simply being ourselves, and now we have these beautiful memories frozen in time to relive again and again."
