I'm a casual and unserious guy. But if there’s anything I’m actually serious about, it’s gotta be creating the best photos for my couples.

I'm a visual storyteller. My photos are contextual. This means they’re not only close ups, but wide shots that show the vastness of the pretty destination you stand in. so years from now, you’ll have photos that remind you how epic your wedding truly was.

I’m OBSESSED with traveling and fully immersing myself in the destination. When I photograph your special day, I bring my traveler’s perspective to create authentic photos that connect with the environment and its story. Bonus? I love travel planning, so you get a photographer *and* a guide!

- Is travel guide that gives you cool travel advice most people don’t know about

I'm ready for takeoff

One of my favorite parts of being an elopement photographer is that I’m here for my couples every step of the way—before, during, and long after your elopement. The photos we create together will live on with you forever, and the connection we’ve built is something I’ll always treasure. So this isn’t goodbye—it’s a “see ya later!”

After your elopement, you won’t have to wait long to relive the magic. I’ll send you a sneak peek of your photos shortly after your big day because I know how exciting it is to see those first glimpses of your story.

When your full gallery is ready, you’ll get a beautifully curated online gallery that’s easy to share with family and friends. Unlimited downloads mean these memories are truly yours—you’ll have access to every single moment we captured together.

Years from now, when life gets busy and memories start to blur, I want you to be able to relive your special day, exactly as it felt, over and over again.

I hope you cherish these photos and that they bring you back to this day for years, even generations, to come.

So, are you ready to start this journey?

FAQs

Where are you located? Do you travel?

Where are you located? Do you travel?

I'm currently living in the beautiful PNW, specifically Seattle, Washington. This is where I grew up and have been living for most of my childhood.

I'm open to traveling anywhere worldwide, and I only charge for travel in unique scenarios such as helicopters, hot air balloons, all-inclusive resorts, etc.

Ask me about my dream destinations because I will shoot your wedding/elopement for free and all you're responsible for is travel and accommodation!

When will I get my photos? How many will I get?

When will I get my photos? How many will I get?

You'll get sneak peeks within the first two weeks of your big day. My turnaround time for full galleries is about 6-10 weeks.

I never put a limit on the amount of pictures that I deliver. My goal in photography is to always be intentional with my storytelling. Every shot is intentional.

But as a ball park, a full micro-wedding/elopement day tends to have at least 300 photos.

What makes you different from other photographers?

What makes you different from other photographers?

My photography is primarily candid. I capture pure, organic moments and expressions. There are times when we will pose for some epic portrait shots, but a majority of it will be documentary-style.

What I notice is that my lighting approach is different from many of my photography peers in the sense that I have a strong preference for using ambient/natural light. I rarely use. flash because I love the natural feel. Flash photography and natural light photography are two completely different looks, and since I prefer the ambient look, I prefer to stay consistent. I use flash when it is impossible to find natural light.

My favorite time to shoot is during sunset and I plan around this time. Harsh midday light and Golden hour light yields a different look, and,  again, I want to stay consistent with my photos so I try as best as I can to produce the most photos at that time of the day.

What gear do you shoot with? Do you have backup?

What gear do you shoot with? Do you have backup?

I'm a huge fan of Sony cameras. Sony has always been what I use since the beginning of my photography journey, and I don't think I can live without Sony.

I use the Sony A7RV as my main and the Sony A7RIV as backup. I have the sharpest Sony lenses (G-Master series) because I believe in investing in image quality for my couples.

In terms of storage, I have the most robust Sandisk Tough SD cards when I shoot, and I use Solid-state drives to offload my photos to a safe place after the shoot. I basically have backups of backups and two of everything so that there's no room for disaster.

Why is photography so expensive?

Why is photography so expensive?

I totally get you. Photography IS expensive. I always never understood this before I became a photographer, and I never hired one for my special days such as my senior photos, prom photos, and so on. But I do regret not hiring one, because now I realize the importance of capturing memories.

As a wedding and elopement photographers, I do this, but in the most personalized and intention way. I leave weeks dedicated to only the couple I'm working with, so that all that time is meant to be at my 100% for the couple specifically.

Here are other things I invest in to make my quality of work world-class:

- My expertise and years of honing my photography skills
- Personal travel expenses to gain knowledge of locations I photograph in
- Time spend on planning and scouting locations
- Time spent editing hundred of photos
- Insurance and business expenses
- Top-of-the-line camera and storage equipment
- Attorney-approved documentations

There's a photographer out there that will fit everyone's need and budget, but if you're looking for the cheapest option, we might now be a good fit, and that's totally okay.

I'm not the cheapest option because I take pride in providing a premium service and taking no shortcuts in quality.

We don't know how to pose. Will you help us?

We don't know how to pose. Will you help us?

I encourage you to express yourself and pose however you feel most comfortable. From time to time, I'll suggest poses that I feel work well in certain scenarios. What's most important is that you feel relaxed and confident. When we achieve that, I'm sure we'll create something amazing :)

Do you have a second shooter?

Do you have a second shooter?

Depends on the size of the ceremony, I may suggest we get a second shooter. But often times, I shoot small weddings and elopements, so I'm able to cover every detail myself.

If you prefer to have a second shooter, I'm totally cool with that, and I'll reach out to my network of wedding photographers I enjoy working with!

What's the difference between an elopement and a small wedding?

What's the difference between an elopement and a small wedding?

The main difference between an elopement and a small wedding is in the guest list, specifically the amount of guests invited.

Since I offer one custom package, I don’t charge extra for small weddings that have more guests. I understand the importance of having all of the most important people in your lives there.

Therefore, I use elopements and intimate weddings interchangeably.

However, with elopements that use public space (National Parks, State Parks, etc…), there are often restrictions from the governing office. In order to follow the rules and preserve the intimate setting of this intentional experience, I recommend to have guest size of 30 or less. I understand that sometimes, you might want to have more than 30 guests. If that’s the case, let me know and I can guide you on finding a venue that can accommodate all your loved ones.

How do you edit your photos?

How do you edit your photos?

My colors are light and never overly saturated, staying true to color. I work with both warm and cool tones, depending on the weather and mood of the day. I want you to look back at your photos and remember exactly how you felt in that moment—that's what a timeless photo means to me.
